Directions: If you are coming from I-40 West, Take exit 143, Travel South on Hwy 13 to Cuba Landing Road, turn right on Cuba Landing Road, and travel 1.2 miles to the Refuge entrance on the left. GPS Coordinates: 35°51'22.8"N 87°49'21.3"W
There are no fees for general admission to the WMA however there are many Outreach Programs and Special Events hosted here.

Regulations & Dates
UNIT II
Special Use - General access and use regulations. Scouting allowed the Saturday and Sunday prior to scheduled hunts. Parking in designated areas only. No access permitted on refuge property outside of permitted hunt and scout dates. Hunters must possess a valid Buffalo Ridge Refuge Unit 2 quota permit for the current hunt dates. ATVs may only be used to retrieve downed game between the hours of 11 am - 2 pm & from the end of legal shooting time until 2 hours after sunset. ATVs must access the property through designated ATV gates and must remain on established/marked roads & trails. No off-trail use of ATVs is permitted at any time. No unauthorized access is allowed onto Buffalo Ridge Refuge Unit 1 at any time.
Deer (Archery) - October 4-6, 2025. Hunter quota 7. Two deer, only one antlered. Deer count towards statewide bag limit.
Deer (Muzzleloader) - November 15-17, 2025. Hunter quota 7. Two deer, only one antlered. Deer count towards statewide bag limit.
Deer (Gun) - December 6-8, 2025. Hunter quota 7. Two deer, only one antlered. Deer count towards statewide bag limit.
