This year this report has special significance as it marks an important date. Tennessee’s workers’ compensation system has been in place for one hundred years since Governor Albert Roberts sign the bill into law April 15, 1919.

Any “Case Manager Assistant” who registered with the Tennessee Bureau of Workers’ Compensation before January 1, 2017 is required to register as a “Case Manager”, as defined by the Bureau’s Case Management Rules, by December 31, 2018 in order to continue to provide case management services to employees in a workers’ compensation claim
