Special Medical Payment Committee Meeting

Dr. Snyder is calling a special meeting of the Medical Payment Committee for the purpose of reviewing the Medical Fee Schedule Rate Tables developed by FAIR Health.

The Medical Payment Committee is comprised of seven voting members appointed by the administrator. Three members represent the medical provider industry, three members represent the workers’ compensation insurance industry, and the medical director serves as the final member of the committee. The committee shall hear disputes on medical bill payments between providers and insurers and advise the administrator on issues relating to the medical fee schedule and medical care cost containment in the workers’ compensation system.

Medical Payment Committee will meet virtually for a special meeting on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at 1:00 PM (CDT). The meeting is open to the public. The meeting will be available via Microsoft Teams.

Public Comments

Public comments are entertained by the chair during the meeting by verbal request, physical or virtual hand raised or request via Teams chat. The chair reserves the prerogative to limit the length of the comment and its relevance to the subject under discussion.
