The Boiler Attendant Variance allows applicants to use remote monitoring. During the inspection, the company’s manual and proper usage of the remote monitoring system are reviewed. A checklist is available for assistance.
Internal Inspection Variance
The Extension of Boiler Internal Inspections Variance is used to assist applicants with the power boiler inspection process of both internal and external annual inspections. The Board may, in its discretion, grant a variance for longer intervals between inspections.
