Mobile Terms of Service
Introduction
The TN LABOR MSG service will allow the Department to communicate with customers about program participation and critical updates about the process. The Department and its authorized agents may contact you by text message, email, or phone call to advise you about your unemployment claim, job opportunities, educational opportunities, or other areas of the unemployment process.
We and our authorized agents may use any one or a combination of these methods of communication to convey important notices. Email and text messages to your mobile phone are two of the primary methods that may be used to contact you. The phone number you provide at the time of signing up for the service is the number that will be used to send text messages or call. The email address you provide at the time of signing up for the service is the email address we will use to communicate with you. You expressly consent to all such methods of communications regarding this service.
Canceling the Service
You can cancel the TN LABOR MSG service at any time. Just text "STOP" to the short code. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just text “START” to the short code, and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
Receiving Help
If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly by emailing lwd.support@tn.gov or calling 844-224-5818.
Messaging / Data Rates
As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
