SARA Complaints/Grievances
Students placed in an out-of-state learning placement and non-Tennessee distance education students, who have completed the internal institutional grievance process, may file a complaint with the Tennessee Higher Education Commission. The complaint must be filed using the Request for Complaint Review form within two (2) years of the incident about which the complaint is made. Questions about the complaint process should be sent to THEC.SARA@tn.gov. We encourage you to contact us before submitting the form or other documents.
