Donations
Through the generosity of the community, all of the county Points of Distirbution sites have been closed. If you are a survivor in an impacted county, please reach out to your local emergency management agency to be connected with resources you may need.
Monetary Donations
Monetary donations allow greater flexibility to purchase exactly what is needed, when it is needed. There are several funds that have been established by local nonprofits to support impacted counties.
- The East Tennessee Foundation has established a fund that exclusively aids the affected counties in East Tennessee. This fund provides strategic grants to empower local nonprofits and agencies to aid in recovery for their own communities amid devastating impacts from Hurricane Helene. - The United Way of East Tennessee Highlands has established the Emergency Relief Fund. Through the United Way, you can discover the organizations making a difference for the impacted communities.
- The Greene County Partnership is the AIDNET of Greene County. You can make donations directly through their website.
- Appalachia Service Project is committed to repairing or replacing at least 200 homes for families that were impacted by Hurricane Helene. Donations can be made on their website.
- Mountain Ways is committed to providing ongoing disaster relief, coordinating efforts with local organizations and officials to ensure that essential resources reach the most affected areas efficiently. To learn more about their organization or to make a donation, visit their website.
