TBI Director's Academy

July 19-23, 2021 & August 23-27, 2021

The TBI Director’s Academy was established by TBI Director Mark Gwyn in 2015 for the purpose of providing pre-supervisory leadership training to TBI employees in order to prepare TBI’s future leaders.

After having completed five prerequisite leadership courses, participants are selected by Director David Rausch to attend two weeks of leadership training in the Fall of each year. Courses include conflict resolution, bridging generation gaps, risk taking, effecting change, making powerful presentations, and identifying leadership strengths. Announcements for the prerequisite courses are made in the Spring of each year.
