TBI Criminal Investigator School

For law enforcement agencies across Tennessee, the TBI Criminal Investigator School will sharpen the skills of investigators at any experience level. This academy focuses on a variety of skills, such as interview and interrogation, search warrant writing, photography and crime scene processing. The curriculum of this school is oriented toward student participation by incorporating hands-on workshops and practical exercises.

Locations and dates are as follows:

East Tennessee: TO BE DETERMINED

West Tennessee: TO BE DETERMINED

Middle Tennessee: July 20-31, 2026, at TBI Headquarters, 901 R.S. Gass Blvd, Nashville, TN (Applications are open and will be accepted until May 15, 2026).  Lodging and meals are the applicant's responsibility. The Academy itself does not have a cost.
