Director of the Tennessee Advanced Communications Network (TACN) Jeff Gray

In February 2023 Jeff Gray assumed the role of Director of the Tennessee Advanced Communications Network (TACN).  Jeff has a combined 30 years managerial experience in the public safety sector specifically in the area of communications logistics with a record of success in growing a department from the ground up as well as adapting operations to a rapidly changing environment. 

Most recently, Jeff served for 21 years as Manager of Vanderbilt Medical Center’s (LifeFlight) emergency communications department.   Prior to that, Jeff spent 9 years as Assistant Director of Bedford County Emergency Medical Services with overlapping service in the United States Army Reserve, Military Police, at the rank of 1st Lieutenant (Gulf War Veteran). 

Jeff is a licensed Paramedic. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Lipscomb University in 1988 and a Masters Degree in Organizational Leadership from Williamson College in 2016.
