What do dealers need to do differently?

Dealers continue their normal process but must select the correct lienholder when entering a transaction.

How are ELT lienholders displayed?

ELT lienholders display as Name - ELT ID.

Can dealer staff edit ELT lienholder information?

No. ELT lienholder information is maintained by the service provider.

Do dealers still submit transactions to the county clerk?

Yes. Transactions continue to be submitted through normal processes.

What happens when an ELT lienholder is selected?

The title will be maintained electronically once the transaction is completed.
