Notice to Customers
Information related to the Enbridge, Inc. Ridgeline Expansion Project
On Oct. 2, 2025, Enbridge, Inc. announced that the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) issued a Notice to Proceed for the Ridgeline Expansion Project, which is an extension of the East Tennessee Natural Gas (ETNG) pipeline. The project will traverse portions of Trousdale, Smith, Jackson, Putnam, Overton, Fentress, Morgan, and Roane Counties. Please note that TDEC’s Oil & Gas Program does not have regulatory jurisdiction over this project.

The Oil & Gas Program of the TDEC Division of Mineral & Geologic Resources provides regulatory oversight of oil and gas well drilling and operation in the State of Tennessee.
