Bledsoe County Correctional Complex To Welcome Local Leaders

PIKEVILLE – The Tennessee Department of Correction along with Assistant Commissioner David Sexton has invited local leaders from Pikeville and Bledsoe County to visit the Bledsoe County Correctional Complex (BCCX) to officially meet newly appointed warden Kevin Hampton. County Mayor Gregg Ridley and Pikeville Mayor Philip Cagel will be joined by Bledsoe County Commissioners Shayne Bickford, Robert Reece, and Ronald Sapp, and Representative Ron Travis for the formal introduction and meeting with AC Sexton and Warden Hampton at  BCCX this Friday, June 29 at 11:00 am CST.

Kevin Hampton started his career with TDOC in 1995 as a Correctional Officer at Northeast Correctional Complex in Mountain City, TN. Hampton was promoted several times during his tenure at NECX, previously holding the position of Correctional Officer, Correctional Counselor I, II, and III, Unit Manager and Associate Warden of Treatment. Warden Hampton brings over 20 years of correctional experience to his new role at BCCX.
