Limited Visitation At SCCF Due To Water Pressure Issue

CLIFTON - Family visits at South Central Correctional Facility (SCCF) will be restricted to one hour today due to limited restroom access in the visitation gallery.  This is due to a decrease in water pressure caused by the ongoing work of contractors on the water lines at the facility.

The Tennessee Department of Correction and SCCF Warden Cherry Lindamood understand that many visitors travel long distances to see their incarcerated loved ones. Instead of totally cancelling visitation while the water situation is addressed, the facility chose to allow visits but shorten them to one hour.

The visitation schedule will return to normal once full water pressure is restored.
