MEMPHIS - Over the weekend the Tennessee Department of Correction, and several supporting agencies, conducted an intensive vehicle search in the parking lots of our Memphis and Jackson Community Supervision offices.  This three-day operation was named “Operation: Clean Up” and resulted in the search of more than 260 vehicles.

This operation was very successful resulting in 46 arrests and the issuance of more than 70 citations.  This operation illustrates TDOC’s commitment to the community by ensuring that the offenders on Community Supervision are held accountable for their actions.

TDOC’s Probation and Parole Officers, Strike Force and K-9 units led this massive undertaking.  In addition, the Department would like to thank the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, Jackson Police Department, Shelby County Sheriff’s Office and Memphis Police Department for their collaboration.
