COLUMBIA – On Wednesday, December 2, 2015 the Tennessee Department of Correction, and several supporting agencies, conducted an intensive vehicle search in the parking lot of our Columbia Community Supervision Office. This search is part of an ongoing operation entitled “Operation: Clean Up.” This operation resulted in the search of nearly 1,000 vehicles with 200 of them being at this location.

This Maury County operation was very successful resulting in four arrests and the issuance of 19 citations. This operation illustrates TDOC’s commitment to the community by ensuring that the offenders on Community Supervision are held accountable for their actions.

TDOC’s Probation and Parole Officers, Strike Force and K-9 units led this massive undertaking. In addition, the Department would like to thank the Maury County Sheriff’s Office and the Columbia Police Department for their collaboration.
