Overview
This comprehensive course introduces students to several construction scenarios which are not widely considered to be typical construction. Building elements and engineering techniques in these special occupancies, unique buildings, and less familiar construction methods are explored and explained in light of compliance with the International Building Code. Special occupancy provisions of IBC Chapter 4 will also be reviewed to remind students of the importance of this section.
