2021 ICC Code Requirements for Construction Documents (2)

Overview: This course raises awareness regarding the code requirements within the 2021 International Building Code, which must be
considered during the plans review process. Training will focus on the 2021 IBC Section 107: Construction Documents, plus the relevant requirements referenced by the Tennessee Board of Architectural and Engineering Examiners Reference Manual and the Rules of the TN Department of Commerce and Insurance. Students will better understand the importance of construction documentation accuracy during review and inspection. Responsibility of designers and Code Officials are explained and the nature of the responsible charge of projects. Case studies show the impact of hasty change orders without proper calculations of structural loads.
