2018 Commercial Building Inspector (4)

Overview: This course concentrates on construction and inspection requirements, techniques and procedures, and the technical knowledge needed to ensure that the minimum requirements for commercial construction are met. The content covered from the 2018 International Building Code will cover code requirements related to: administration, occupancy classification, special occupancy considerations, building height/story/area, fire-rated construction, interior finish, fire protection systems, means of egress, and in the sizing and implementation of building materials used in commercial construction. In addition, instruction will also include inspection-related experiences and helps which students can use in daily routines of inspections on commercial buildings in their respective jurisdictions.
