Checking Your Insurance Claim Status
Generally, your employer’s workers’ compensation insurance adjuster 48 hours to make contact with you to discuss your claim and has 14 calendar days to accept or deny your claim. If you have questions about the status of your claim, you should first call the adjuster assigned to your claim. If you are unsuccessful in that effort, check with your supervisor. If you are still unsure, you can contact the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation by calling 800-332-2667.
