The workers' compensation Telehealth Working Group will meet on Friday, February 7, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Central Time).

For workers' compensation claims that involve case managers, the face-to-face meeting in all catastrophic cases should occur within 14 days of the injury. For non-catastrophic injuries, the face-to-face meeting should occur within 14 days of the Case Manager’s assignment to the case.

Registration is now open for our Physician Education Conference 2020. It's a special 1-day program that provides information of particular importance for physicians, attorneys, and others involved in workers’ compensation.

The Workers' Compensation Medical Payment Committee (MPC) will review cases and discuss the Medical Fee Schedule. The committee hears disputes on medical bill payments between providers and insurers and advise the administrator on issues relating to the medical fee schedule and medical care cost containment in the workers’ compensation system.

The Workers’ Compensation Medical Advisory Committee will meet in the Tennessee Room on Tuesday, January 28, 2020.

A live demonstration is planned to provide the group with deeper insight on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at 1:00 pm in the Tennessee Room.

The Medical Advisory Committee's Utilization Review (UR) Working Group will meet on Friday, November 1, 2019 at 8 AM - 9 PM in the workers' compensation large conference room at 220 French Landing Dr in Nashville, TN.

The Tennessee Inpatient Hospital Working Group will meet on Tuesday, November 5 at 1 PM in the Volunteer Room at 220 French Landing Drive in Nashville.

The Medical Advisory Committee is comprised of practitioners in the medical community having experience in the treatment of workers’ compensation injuries, representatives of the insurance industry, employer representatives, and employee representatives to assist the administrator in the development of the treatment guidelines and advise the administrator on issues relating to medical care in the Workers’ Compensation system.
