Survey: Should we postpone or cancel the conference?

Update regarding the 23rd Tennessee Bureau of Workers' Compensation Educational Conference
Monday, April 20, 2020 | 03:25pm

We are sad to announce that the current pandemic and associated "Stay at Home/Work from Home" guidance from the Governor's office and the CDC has forced the Bureau to postpone and possibly cancel the 2020 Workers' Compensation Educational Conference previously scheduled for June 10-12.  This was a difficult, but necessary, decision and we believe that it is in the best interest of everyone that would have attended the event.

We know that many of you look forward to attending our conference as much as we look forward to hosting you.  For some, the event provides information from locally- and nationally-recognized experts on topics of interest and access to necessary Continuing Education Credits with an ability to earn many if not all of those required by your professional licensing organization.  For others, it provides the ability to learn about Tennessee workers' compensation requirements with direct access to Bureau leadership.  For still others, it provides you the ability to visit exhibitors and vendors to learn about their products, goods and services to help you improve the outcomes of your workers' comp claims. For everyone, it offers the ability to meet and network with some 600 professionals all involved in the workers' compensation industry.

Whether we reschedule the conference for later this year or cancel it entirely will be impacted greatly by the input and guidance we receive from you—our customers.  Please let us know your thoughts and feelings on how we should proceed  by completing this brief 11-question survey. It is anonymous, but will provide us very relevant guidance as we decide whether to consider rescheduling our conference, canceling it or reformatting it into a shorter event.

Thanks, in advance, for your participation.

Sincerely,

Jeff Francis, Assistant Administrator and Conference Organizer
