NASHVILLE – Tennessee Labor & Workforce Development Commissioner Burns Phillips announced today the Tennessee preliminary unemployment rate for February was 4.9 percent, five-tenths of a percentage point decrease from the January revised rate of 5.4 percent. The U.S. preliminary rate for February was 4.9 percent, unchanged from the previous month.

NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Occupational Safety and Health Administration (TOSHA) is extending the enforcement policy of its Confined Spaces in Construction standard that went into effect on August 3, 2015.
