  • Tennessee's Unemployment Rate for June 4.1%

    NASHVILLE – Tennessee Labor & Workforce Development Commissioner Burns Phillips announced today the Tennessee preliminary unemployment rate for June was 4.1 percent, unchanged from the May revised rate of 4.1 percent. The U.S. preliminary rate for June was 4.9 percent, up two-tenths of a percentage point from the previous month.

    NASHVILLE – Tennessee Labor & Workforce Development Commissioner Burns Phillips announced today the Tennessee preliminary unemployment rate for May was 4.1 percent, two-tenths of a percentage point decrease from the April revised rate of 4.3 percent. The U.S. preliminary rate for May was 4.7 percent, down three-tenths of a percentage point from the previous month.
