Pursuant to the Tennessee State Workforce Development Board Bylaws, the Chairman has called a special meeting of the Tennessee State Workforce Development Board.

Purpose of Meeting
The purpose of this special-called meeting is to review and consider approval of the Tennessee Workforce Pell Grant Framework Policy. Adoption of this policy is necessary to ensure compliance with the U.S. Department of Education’s Final Rule in preparation for implementing the Workforce Pell program.
This meeting will be conducted wholly by electronic means. All members of the Tennessee State Workforce Development Board will be participating by electronic means of communication.
The proposed Tennessee Workforce Pell Grant Framework Policy is available for public review and comment through June 22, 2026, and may be accessed on the Items for Public Comment page.
Requests for meeting access and public comment participation should be submitted in advance of the meeting to facilitate electronic participation.
