CLE Webinar: Settlements: When It's Time to Settle

The Worker’s Compensation Law requires court approval of all settlements. This webinar will feature the procedure for obtaining settlement approval in the Court of Workers’ Compensation Claims. This CLE will help prepare attorneys to present a settlement to the court.

Judges Shaterra Marion and Brian Addington will supply the statutory and regulatory authority of the court and present common problems the court has experienced when reviewing proposed settlements. This one-hour CLE will include the places and times the court approves settlements and suggestions for a prompt settlement approval.
