Currently, Governor Lee’s Emergency Order pertaining to COVID-19 that allows State Boards to hold their meetings electronically is set to expire February 28, 2021. So, this meeting will not be an in-person meeting. Since the Emergency Order was extended, then this meeting will be held electronically via Zoom.

This committee hears disputes on medical bill payments between providers and insurers and advise the administrator on issues relating to the medical fee schedule and medical care cost containment in the workers’ compensation system.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss issues relevant to Tennessee’s Workforce Development System. The vision of the State Workforce Development Board is to increase the competitive position of Tennessee businesses and attract new businesses through the development of a highly skilled workforce.
