Proposed Tennessee State Veterans Cemeteries

The Tennessee Department of Veterans Services is committed to establish a State Veterans Cemetery within 75 miles of the Tennessee Veteran population. The department has proposed a new State Veterans Cemetery in southwest Tennessee and in the upper Cumberland region. The United States Department of Veterans Affairs will fund the design and construction of the new cemetery. However, funding for land acquisition must be raised through donations as well as city, county and state funding.
