Reverse Transfer Subcouncil

This subcouncil focuses on the advancement of the effectiveness of the Tennessee Reverse Transfer Program, which allows students who started their postsecondary education at a Tennessee Community College to receive an Associate Degree after they’ve transferred to a four-year university. The subcouncil will have oversight of the Reverse Transfer process and policies and will review the policy and its impact annually. As of January 2023, THEC will be responsible for the centralized administration and coordination of Reverse Transfer for the state.
