Course Description:
This course aims to help prevent, reduce, or mitigate the potential consequences of a domestic terrorist attack, natural catastrophe, or other emergency using all-hazards scenarios to identify critical community asset risks and their potential impacts on a community. The information gained through applying these training concepts may be used to develop appropriate action plans to reduce consequences and manage risks. This course provides training to assist emergency responders and other local stakeholders (operating as a multidisciplinary team) in analyzing existing security measures and formulating a strategy for mitigation.
