TEMA 101

Overview:

This one-day course is designed to introduce participants to TEMA and emergency management in Tennessee. It covers various topics, including the history of emergency management, hazards in Tennessee, the legal framework surrounding emergency management, TEMA's administrative structure, and its role during disasters. The course is primarily intended for TEMA staff and state emergency services coordinators (ESC). However, local emergency management directors may also attend by coordinating with their regional office.
