We need you! On Sunday, April 7th we will need volunteers to come help us with various projects throughout the site. We need volunteers to help with various outdoor activities including mulching, trail maintenance, gardening, hauling, and cleaning.

Meeting place -
Volunteers should gather at Marble Springs State Historic Site at noon, gates will open 11:30 AM. Marble Springs State Historic Site is 36 acres of native East Tennessee woodland, hiking trails, and historic cabins. Volunteers can park in the field and meet under the pavilion.

Planned Activities -
Volunteers will participate in various outdoor activities including mulching, trail maintenance, gardening, hauling, and cleaning. Volunteers should anticipate wearing comfortable shoes, sunscreen, and clothes that may get dirty.

Should I bring any tools or supplies? -
Many of the tools are provided however Volunteers may wish to bring their own kneepads, gloves, glasses, etc. Bringing extra wheelbarrows is always welcome!
Marble Springs will provide common tools and gloves as well as refreshments.

Is there a rain date? -
In the instance of inclement weather, Park Day will be moved to April 11

Please note: Marble Springs State Historic Site is mostly outdoors.

This event is done in tandem with the American Battlefield Trust.
