Provider education – Quiztime and ONE Tennessee

Quiztime:  In 2018, Tennessee developed new requirements for Tennessee’s medical education institutions to address proper treatment for pain, safe and effective prescribing practices and proper diagnoses and treatment for individuals abusing or misusing controlled substances.  Quiztime was developed as an educational tool to address the need for these new competencies. Quiztime utilizes a spaced education method of quiz questions that are delivered via a web app quizzing platform.  Quizzes are available that provide physician and prescriber education for serving general as well as specialized populations and continuing education credits are awarded upon completion of the quizzes.

ONE Tennessee: ONE Tennessee is a statewide 501c3 not-for-profit organization established in 2018 to combat the opioid epidemic in Tennessee.  With funding support from the Tennessee Department of Health and private contributors, ONE Tennessee promotes safe management of chronic pain to prevent overdose and address substance use disorder through collaboration, clinician education and integration of services.
