TDEC Voluntary Wetlands Protection Resources

TDEC’s Natural Resources Unit (NRU) has developed these webpages to assist individuals and communities interested in engaging in voluntary protection of wetlands. The information contained in these resources are intended to identify best practices in wetlands protection for use in a voluntary context, ensure responsible and proper wetlands protection, and provide clarity to external stakeholders regarding how voluntary wetlands protection should occur. It should be noted that  these resources have been developed for application only within the voluntary context.
