The Harpeth River Watershed is located in Middle Tennessee and includes parts of Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Rutherford and Williamson Counties. The Harpeth River Watershed is approximately 863 square miles and drains to the Cumberland River.
TDEC is currently working through the development of a TDML Study for the Harpeth River. This type of study is done for waters that are not meeting water quality standards and is required by the Clean Water Act.
The purpose of this page is to keep all interested parties informed about activities that are going on throughout this development process.
May 2021 - Model is currently being explored by TDEC and stakeholders.
Next stakeholder meeting will be in late summer.
