Public Hearing for Proposed NPDES Permit for Kimberly-Clark Corporation

The Division of Water Resources will hold a public hearing pursuant to Rule 0400-40-05-.06 (8) on the reissuance of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit TN0064653 for the discharge of process wastewater, cooling tower blowdown, boiler blowdown, and noncontact cooling water from Outfall 001 resulting from screening, primary clarification, activated sludge, secondary clarification, recycle (optional), belt filtration, pressure filtration (press), landfill (off-site), waste-to-energy (off-site) of wastewater from manufacturing, converting, and packaging of sanitary tissue products and operation of a cooling water intake structure into the Tennessee River at river mile 589.7.
