Description of Activity: Discharges associated with operation of a 1,530-megawatt (MW), at 58 degrees Fahrenheit, combined natural gas-fired generating station. The station will consist of two combustion turbine (CT) generators, two heat-recovery steam generators (HRSGs), two steam turbine generators (STGs), and associated equipment. Each combined cycle (electrical generation) train consists of one CT, one HRSG, and one steam turbine. The proposed discharge of steam cycle and evaporative heat recovery steam generator blowdown, reverse osmosis reject, oil/water separator effluent, miscellaneous drains from steam cycling, other low volume wastewaters and stormwater will be treated via sedimentation basin, sulfuric acid (as needed) for pH neutralization, sodium bisulfate (as needed) for dechlorination, reverse osmosis antiscalant and caustic treatment (as needed), and oil/water separation. The applicant proposes de minimis degradation from the new discharge activity.
