Housing Inspections

Housing inspection conducted prior to occupancy for the following homes funded by the Statewide Waiver (SW) or the Comprehensive Aggregate Cap (CAC) Waiver:

• Supported Living/Medical Supported Living (SL)

• Semi-Independent Living (SIL)

• Blended Homes (SL and SIL homes in which one or more of the occupants have different funding sources, and at least one of the occupants must be funded by SW or CAC

Preparing for a Housing Inspection

• Review and become familiar with the Home Inspection Checklist and use this tool as a guide when viewing the home prior to requesting a home inspection: Home Inspection Checklist for Supported Living and Semi-Independent Living

• Correct any deficiencies noted when walking through the home prior to requesting an inspection.Review and become familiar with the HCBS Settings Rule.
