Domestic Violence Resources
Domestic violence affects many Tennessee families and children. According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Crime Report, over 50% of violent crimes include domestic violence. Collaboration among community agencies is critical to address the issues of domestic violence, and the Department of Children’s Services serves as a key stakeholder in this effort to assist in the identification of families experiencing domestic violence and in providing or facilitating domestic violence-informed interventions in collaboration with local domestic violence service providers.
