State Review Board
The State Review Board is a body whose members represent the professional fields of American history, architectural history, historic architecture, prehistoric and historic archeology, and other professional disciplines and may include citizen members. The State Review Board is responsible for reviewing and approving National Register nominations concerning whether or not the nominations meet the criteria for evaluation prior to submittal to the National Park Service. The State Review Board meets three times a year in January, May, and September.
September 20, 2024, State Review Board Meeting
The State Review Board will meet to examine seven nominations proposed for listing in the National Register of Historic Places. The Board will also review proposals to remove three properties from the National Register. Approved nominations and proposals will be forwarded to the National Park Service for final consideration after further revisions. The meeting will be held at the Tennessee Historical Commission at 2941 Lebanon Pike, Nashville at 9 a.m. and virtually via WebEx. Links to the Agenda and WebEx can be found below.
