Mineral Test Hole

Applicants for a Mineral Test Hole permit are required to submit financial assurance of $1,000 per test hole or a blanket plugging bond of $10,000 for all test holes drilled under a blanket permit. The following instrument type is allowed by the program:

• Performance Bond
• Guidance Document for Use of Performance Bonds

The program also allows the use of cash/certified check to satisfy the financial responsibility requirement.
