Non-Custodial Contracts
007s are generally non-custodial in nature providing services to DCS clients involved with investigative or assessment casework through community-based agencies such as the Child Advocacy Centers. Other examples include publicly-available services like Community-Based Child Abuse Prevention, Independent Living Resource Centers, Juvenile Court Prevention, and Relative Caregiver Programs. 007 reviews occur biennially and are not as intense as PBCs due to the unique work between contracts. Common areas are reviewed that include agency-wide compliance, personnel checks, training, and client-driven service delivery. PME oversees about two-hundred 007 contracts and reviews approximately half of that number each year, depending on a variety of factors that determine the schedule.
