Release of Tennessee's September County Unemployment Data Delayed

NASHVILLE — Due to a lapse in appropriations to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics during the ongoing federal government shutdown, Tennessee did not receive the data necessary to publish the state’s September county unemployment rates and economic analysis. The Department will release the data once funding to the Bureau of Labor Statistics is restored.

The Department will provide an update on the release schedule as soon as additional information becomes available.
