Services Will Relocate To South Liberty Hill Road

NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development is relocating its Tennessee American Job Center in Talbott. Currently located at 6057 West Andrew Johnson Highway, Suite 6A the Job Center is moving to 215 South Liberty Hill Road, Morristown, TN 37813.

The Job Center will be open for business at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22. In preparation for the move, the Job Center will be closed on Wednesday, July 15, through Tuesday, July 21. The Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development’s mobile Career Coach will be providing services at the Talbott location during the move.

All services being offered at the West Andrew Johnson Highway location will still be available at the new 215 South Liberty Hill Road location.

Job Center staff helps job seekers connect with employers who have listed jobs with both the Job Center and with Jobs4TN.gov – (the department’s online database that has an average of 90,000 jobs). Job applicants can get career information, use the Internet, take part in job preparation workshops, and post résumés.

The phone number for the South Liberty Hill Road office will remain the same: 423-317-1060. Job Center hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
