CURRENT SITUATION

Overnight, a line of severe storms passed through Tennessee and has caused damage to buildings, roads, and utilities in several counties across the state. Damage assessments across the state are ongoing.

  • Currently there are 2 shelters open to storm survivors.

  • Tipton County: Covington Sports Plex, 790 Bert Johnston Ave, Covington, TN

  • TDOT is assisting with debris roadway removal in impacted counties.

  • The Tennessee Department of Health has confirmed 7 weather-related fatalities in McNairy County.
