Major Stacey Heatherly

Major Heatherly is a 27-year veteran of the THP, where she has served as the Knoxville District Captain, and Lieutenant over the Knoxville District Dignitary Protection. She has worked in the Knoxville and Nashville Districts while holding the ranks of Lieutenant, Sergeant, and Trooper. Major Heatherly’s career involves leading Troop A/E, Troop C, the Special Programs Unit, and Sergeant at Scales Division.

Major Heatherly was the first uniformed Public Information Officer – PIO in the history of the Tennessee Highway Patrol in 2009 while serving in the Nashville area as a sergeant with the Office of Professional Responsibility Unit. Stacey is committed to God, her family, and aggressive policing of the community that she leads.

Major Heatherly is a graduate of the Northwestern University of Police Staff and Command in 2012.  Stacey and her husband, Michael - a 17-year veteran trooper with the Tennessee Highway Patrol, are the parents of 4 children and a Mimi/Didi and Pops to 6 grandchildren residing in Campbell County.
