This interactive visualization reflects state taxes the Department of Revenue collects that have a local collection component attached to them. For that reason, it does not include tax types such as the franchise & excise tax. The blocks at the top of the map provide aggregate information for each local tax. You can filter the information for each tax type by clicking on each square at the top. You can also hover over each respective county to view its respective local tax collection information.

Collections reported by cash basis fiscal years running from July through June. For example, fiscal year 2021 starts in July 2020 and ends in June 2021.
