Become an Approved Software Vendor

The Department of Revenue provides software certification services free upon request to registered Tennessee vendors.  If you are currently registered with the Department of Revenue, please provide your sales and use tax account number when requesting certification.  If you are not currently registered with the Department of Revenue, you may do so by completing an Application for Registration for a sales tax account and emailing it to software.registration@tn.gov

Once registered, you will be expected to maintain your account as long as you are a vendor in Tennessee. If you have questions or need assistance with your registration, please call (615) 253-0601, or email software.registration@tn.gov. Once you have registered, email efile.questions@tn.gov for access to the software specifications.
