On Feb. 3, the Tennessee National Guard’s Construction and Facilities Management Office Environmental Program was awarded the NGB Installation Division’s 2021 Environmental Stewardship Trophy for best overall environmental program.

  • Tennessee National Guard conducting emergency preparedness exercise

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Military Department is conducting a Joint Emergency Preparedness Exercise at Nashville’s Joint Forces Headquarters on 3041 Sidco Drive, from 8-11 a.m., March 22. Participants include the Tennessee National Guard, Tennessee Emergency Management Agency, Metro Nashville Police Department, and the Nashville Fire Department. During the exercise, the main entrance to the facility may be closed and traffic through the campus main gate may be restricted.

    SMYRNA, Tenn. – Top junior enlisted leaders and junior Noncommissioned Officer from the Tennessee National Guard and representatives from the Bulgarian Armed Forces competed in the State Best Warrior Competition, Feb. 22-27. The competition took place at Tennessee Volunteer Training Sites in Milan, Smyrna, and Tullahoma; Middle Tennessee State University; and the Lynchburg area.
