Implementation Status
Becoming an active state in the Counseling Compact requires significant planning and careful implementation. Tennessee is working diligently to ensure that counselors and the public have a seamless, secure, and reliable experience once the Compact is live. At this time, Tennessee does not have an anticipated start date to be actively participating in the compact.
NOTICE OF COUNSELING COMPACT PROPOSED RULEMAKING
The Executive Committee has approved Draft Rules to be posted for public comment. The public comment period begins today, August 7, 2025, and ends on September 9, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. MT., unless a public hearing is specifically requested.
